Thanks for guidance & leadership in our children's life ( Jonathan &
Joshua) they really enjoyed the competition yesterday...
P.S. I think you should address the etiquettes of competition with my Husband ( ha ha ha)...
like the screaming. Punch punch...
We were laughing last night about that. My husband was the only one Screaming.. How
embarrassing...
Thanks for everything, have fun over the weekend. We will be on vacation all next week.
God Bless,
Sandy
Dear Sensei:
Without a great instructor & role model like you our children would not have Achieved this

Hello, Nice web page. Damian is really enjoying his training. I also enjoy watching him grow
and learn. I am impressed by what I have seen so far in the quality of the students that you
teach. I am happy that I found your school. I am a person of faith and I don't believe it was
"chance" . I want Damian to grow spiritually as well. i just wanted to drop you an e-mail to let
you know that you are appreciated. Thank you,
and I look forward to watch you help Damian continue his training. Angelo
Dear Sensei Armando,
Thank you for that beautiful story. I hope all is well. I just wanted to thank you for all you
did for Katherine while she was in class. I have found it really difficult to continue during the
summer and am going to withdraw her from class at this time since she has not been going,
either because we are out of town or somewhere else in Miami during that time. I should
have done it sooner but although Katherine did not want me to withdraw her for the summer
she realizes how busy it has been for us this summer. We will take it up again in a couple of
months once we get our oldest settled in college and the kids settled for their school year.
You are a great example to your students. God bless you and much success with your school.
Thanks, Eris Arza
Hi Sensei,
We would like to let you know that we too appreciate your dedication, committment and
patience (especially with Kenya) in working with our children, Joshua and Kenya. We are very
impressed at how much they have learned in only a few months. They are both really excited
about martial arts. We visited other Karate' schools and we feel blessed to have come
across one that is Christian based. God Bless you.

Overall:
I have been training with sensei colbourne since I was 15...about 10 years i have been
guided by this man and he has not steered me wrong once. I have learned a lot about my self
as well as the art which train in in this time. I have gained self confidence, virtue, discipline,
as well as way to properly defend myself. To me, Sensei colbourne is more than a teacher,
he is a role model, a father figure, to myself as well as the others in the school. He is an
excellent instructor and joining his school is the best thing i have ever done.
Overall:
Pros: great instructors
Cons: none
I love Pan-American Gojuryu Karate because the instructors are very child-friendly. They don't
yell at the students but instead are patient with them. Each student receives personal
attention in class to ensure that they are executing each form and movement properly, the
atmosphere is not competitive but supportive of each student, the instructors are
knowledgeable and is a great family setting.
Pros: very charitable and giving of his time
I think that he is very attentive and charismatic. At a young age children need something to
give them self confidence and guidance and think with his karate class he can give that to
them.
Overall:
We love this family Karate school, our children's attitudes and academic achievement has
improved for the better. They take the discipline they learn in the dojo into the school
environment. They have become 'A/B' students and have received many academic
achievement awards. We thank Pan-American Gojuryu Karate School for allowing our
children to attend their program.
Karate is presented in a simple way that is easy to learn. The profesionalism of the
instructors is what impress me, these guys truly care for the students, treat them with respect
in an attentive manner. Self esteem is high, students are motivated, parents are delighted
with the service. I have visited many parts of the world, Pan American Goju is the Best Dojo I
have seen in 25 years of studying Martial Arts.
Armando you finally did it you are up there with the world best.

Overall:
I met one of the black belts from this school just recently. I found him to be very courteous,
kind, and very confident. Based on that, I would say that is a great relection on the instructor! I
would say, join! Feels good to see martial artists without the attitude!!!!
Armando al leer esto estaba tan emocionada que las lagrimas se me salieron.
Iam getting old and foolish I am very proud of you, lo malo que hay veces
no le decimos a las personas cuanto los queremos. Gracias por esta alegria hoy Domingo.
I love very much y estoy orgullosa de ti y tu familia.

Sensei Colbourne,
You have a wonderful blog page going on. Please keep up the great work. Your devout
dedication to the martial arts is very passionate, and that is very admirable. Enjoy your
weekend. I will try to connect with you guys in Texas sometimes when you go there, if
possible. Have a good one. Osu!

Mr. Diaz,
I just got in to my house, and called voice mail. Sorry I couldn’t return the call, my cell phone
battery died and I didn’t have your number anywhere else.
Anyway, we made it back safely and everybody really enjoyed the trip and opportunity to see
and participate in your test. I would like to thank you for inviting us into the Goju family for the
day. Your students and instructors are extremely gracious (and very well-trained), which is a
breath of fresh air compared to other schools I’ve experienced in the past.
Congratulations on being part of such a fine organization, and please extend my heartfelt
gratitude to Kyoshi and Mrs. Colbourne and all of the Pan-American Goju Family for the
hospitality and lunch.
Once again, I hope that Danny and the other students don’t feel too bad about a visiting guest
losing a little control during the sparring. He and the entire group are welcome to return the
favor anytime.
Take Care,
Steven G Dunn
